Excellent grill
This grill is excellent. It is the cheapest grill you can get that is still manufactured by Weber. The grill was easy to set up. It took about an hour and the grill feels very solid. The grill has performed well heating quickly and fairly even. It is hotter toward the front but it is nothing major. The flavorizer (covers for the burners) were all bent on arrival. After a 3 minute call to customer service I was shipped new ones no questions asked. The customer service is excellent and the warranty for the grill is equally as impressive. I highly recommend this grill.
A solid grill
I never write reviews for anything that I buy, as I mostly rely on the reviews of others (which are usually pretty comprehensive). When it came to this grill, though, I had much trepidation in my purchase as I could find no real detail on this product and few pictures. First, it is a product that is backed by Weber (it's stamped on the box). Second, every part of this grill is well made, and was easy to put together (you really only build the frame, the main grill box just sets into the base you build (the side panels are a nice stainless steel. After about 1.5 hours of putting this together (I did it by myself with just normal tools), I fired it up and it was impressive. Heated well, cooked a filet wonderfully. I'll follow this one up as time goes on, but my first impression was that it was half the price of a Weber Genesis but certainly more than half of the quality (the box itself isn't as thick or heavy as a Genesis, but it wasn't "flimsy"). I was impressed enough...
Lives up to its Ducane reputation
I bought this item based solely on the Ducane reputation for quality and durability. So far, I have not been disappointed. It was shipped promptly and arrived undamaged. The assembly instructions were straightforward and all parts were accounted for and fit like they should. Operation is a breeze with the electric igniter. No problems firing it up and it heats up very quickly. Provides a consistent flame on each burner so I get good cook-through with no burns or raw areas. I would recommend this grill to a friend.
