Great affordable upgrade
This was the first upgrade to my original Weber kettle, and it was well worth the money! I recently upgraded to the Performer, and sent this piece along with it so I just ordered my second one.
I have the pizza stone and cast iron grate attachement, and absolutely love it!
I'd give it 5 stars if the grate was stainless steel.
Perfect grate, very versitile
I picked up this grate without the extra inserts that go with it. It works great for a center zone fire and center searing and still has the two side hinges for two zone. The grate is pretty solid, not thin like the standard grates. This also works perfectly with my 18" Weber stainless steel Wok. Highly recommend it, I'm getting two more for my other kettles.
This is our second one.
Bought this as a replacement to our first. After three years of 3 to 4 times a week grilling, the first one gave up the ghost. My fault. We use this with the grill, sear plate and grittle.
