I don't understand why there are two stars on the other review. It says "charcoal grate for 14 inch grills". Product description even states actual size 10.5 inches. So I don't understand if reviewer is giving two stars for effectiveness of product or a misunderstanding of the product description. It fits my Smokey Joe and it holds the charcoal in place, doing what it should do. Only reason I had to replace it was my fault -- I left it at the campsite.
Fits my Smokey Joe
I ordered this to replace a charcoal grate (the smaller one that the coals go on top of) which was accidentally thrown out with the coals. It fits perfectly so I can continue to use my beloved Smokey Joe.
An addition to my Smokey Joe
I purchased this grate to lay on top of the original grate but turned 180 degrees to form small squares so small pieces of lump charcoal does not fall through. Works as I intended, which is great!
