Weber 7421 Gourmet BBQ System Griddle

Works Like A Charm
A great addition to my grilling tools. My first use was to make shrimp fajitas in this pan. While the directions said not to use cookin oils in it, I put a little olive oil in the pan. Then the onions, red peppers, green peppers cooked down on low heat. Added the shrimp marinated in teryaki and voila shrimp fajitas. A hit with my guests and myself. This griddle will see much use!!
Love it!
Got this for my husband who wanted a flat surface to grill on that would do a little more than those thinner metal grill accessories (with holes. We have a rectangular gas grill, but I bought this round shape one because I thought it would be more versatile/easier to store.

It heats to a very high temperature (we let it warm up with the grill...) and sears fish perfectly. Also great for vegetables. Only issue is it's heavy but it was surprisingly easy to clean. We let it cool then wiped off what we could before giving it a wash in the sink. Since it's cast iron, would not put in dishwasher or let sit in water as it would rust.
Works great without the gourmet "system"
This is a good sized, heavy skillet. You don't need the gourmet system to use this. Just place the skillet on top of your regular grate. I used it for the first time to make fajitas on my weber. There was plenty of space for 4 chicken breasts (cut into strips) plus veggies. It worked great, and the food turned out perfectly.
