Definitely a quality grill!
We love Weber and decided to upgrade from a Weber Baby Q to the Weber Summit. The Summit, while bigger and more powerful than our portable, is still the quality grill with plenty of heat and attractive design we have come to expect from Weber! The materials in the grill itself are heavy duty and should last a very long time - even with the heavy use we are going to put it through. We absolutely love to grill, and we were waiting for our Baby Q to "wear out" (but it never did - we've had it over 7 years and it's still going strong) so we finally gave up as we are now 5 years into our new home and wanted the convenience of a natural gas hook-up...so, we decided to keep the Q for camping and tailgating and get the Summit for our backyard barbecue needs. We live in Texas and are serious about grilled meat and veggies; we are absolutely 100% pleased with the Summit.
