Weber Q 140 Electric Grill

Weber Electric Q 140 Grill - great but too small
Weber Electric Q140 Grill

We purchased the Weber electric because of its reputation for quality and functionality. We are not disappointed in those features, but we were very disappointed in the size. It was hard to visualize how small this unit is. We should have chosen the next larger size. You cannot get any vegetable or shrimp or fish tray in the unit without it hitting the lid or the sides. So for a small number of burgers or steaks, it is just fine. Works well and overall a great unit, but we wish we had the larger one.
THE REAL DEAL 08/05/2013
I have spent years searching and testing BBQ grills for use while traveling in our MotorCoach.
We own an expensive Magna Marine Party propane grill which burns most of the food cooked on it.

We recently purchased a MECO 9309 based on reviews. WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK. I can't honestly see anything about the MECO that would rate a review ranking above ONE STAR.

A number of other BBQ's purchased and returned don't deserve mention.

Weber shows what can be produced for the consumer when you have all their years of building successful BBQ's.

Everything I've cooked to date on the Weber 140 has turned out spectacular. I'm looking forward to taking it on the road. It's so so easy to clean.

The only thing I could say that Weber needs to review is the heat control knob and give the owner a better idea as to what temp you are cooking at. The designers seemed to have missed to boat here.

Would love to use charcoal but it's not...
