Hey, it replaced the one that died. That's 100%.
It replaces the old one. It turns a 20 pound turkey. It turns 2 roasts. If it fits on the grill (even when forced to remove the cover plates to allow rotation), it turns. That's 100%.

The unit works very good. Was a hard to find item. Weber had changed the design. Saved me from having to buy a complete assembly.
