I think this is a better way to go then investing in a smoker tray.
Didn't really smoke at all
I bought this to try with my new Weber Genesis 330 gas grill. Followed the instructions and used the apple wood while cooking chicken. Had the pan sitting over a burner for an hour and a half and it never really smoked at all. I will try again, but not really impressed so far.
had no impact on taste of food
I used these as described on the box to have absolutely no effect of any kind on the food being cooked.
